HAHAHAHA I forgot all about the tattoos. How, I don't know but in Chillicothe they turn the horse barn into a huge tattoo parlor with a different shop in each stall. A buddy of mine walked in and the first thing he saw was some dude getting his "member" tattooed. Glad I wasn't with him at the time. That's some funny stuff. |

Americade is fun you can get edemecated or go to Canada Street and party hard the Demos are fun and lots to choose from the food is good and the roads up there are awesome. I plan on going up there again not this year coming up, and next time trying to find a room at the Roaring Brook Ranch so I can park the bike and ride everybody elses Attend the seminars and talks. Last time I attended I went to the rodeo at the Painted Pony which was cool. I got a cabin with 4 other ladies for $650 for the whole week so it was registration cost and 130.00 per person for the cabin for the whole week! We had Canadians for neighbors and it was really cool to meet and talk to them. Americade has a huge website. K |

The Americade website is http://www.tourexpo.com/ I'll probably be up for at least a day, as I want to get Ironbraids installed on my brake and clutch levers. The layer of leather helps in cold weather, and having the braids on my levers has been almost a trademark of mine now for the past fifteen years. I'm not used to having bare metal levers anymore! |

Just a fyi, I really dont know how the myrtle beach rally is going to be anymore. That city is trying its hardest to drive it away and the fall rally was a failure. Complimentary db checks for your pipes when you came in... If it does continue, shoot me a pm, and ill ride up, its only 2 hours away. |

Americade is great outside of the official rides (this is the rally in my backyard I was talking about - 30 minutes due north and I'm in Lake George). They have a TON of demos, a TON of lectures, a TON of prizes, etc etc. The first year I went I demod 4 bikes, won first place in the Sportster motorcycle show, won a door prize that paid for mine an a buddy's dinner at local nice eatery, probably did 3 official rides, and then monkeyed around the rest of the time, meeting folks, hanging out in town and checking out all the bikes, and going on our own tours of the area. |

I used to do the Harley Rallies but gave them up. There was always a fun, interesting, amazing display of all types of people and activities there but it got to be the same old same old. To do any riding you have to get away from the rally site. The Sturgis SD rally had great riding/scenery after you got away from all of the rallY traffic. |

Not sure if I am doing Americade this year as I don't want to take any time off. It is a great area to ride once you get away from the slower riders immediately around Lake George. There are some great back roads with very little traffic that time of year. I anticipate the economy may dampen it a little this year. |
