I figured with all the talk of bad at the dealers I would throw out a good one. I had a tire changed at a local Harley shop (not a dealer) After I had no rear brake. I took it back and after bleeding it they told me I needed a rear master cylinder. I went to Devil Mountian HD where they looked at it showed me the gouges the other place put in my swing arm and belt pulley! The bled adjusted the brakes, even put on some touch up paint. All at no charge. Should have went to the dealer in the first place, but I didn't think they would put on a tire I got somewhere else. They will, BTW. The mechanic explained to me how and why they put those gouges there and how to avoid doing it. They could have charged me an hours labor, after all they're fixing somebody elses F-up. I would have paid. But I think they know next time I'll go to them, first. |

I think BW needs a "Dealer" area where people can post the goods and bads. I've had really no complaints with my home area dealer. Its good to see others have as well. I've found that if the owner(s) of the dealership look at Buell as a positive for them, employees will follow that lead. |
