I'm looking for a source for a custom front sprocket for a Blast project. I need a 15 tooth, 530 chain. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks for the help! |

Baker - I'd bet that if it has ANYTHING to do with H-D tranny, they can point you in the right direction. http://www.bakerdrivetrain.com/ 21T is kinda small; 15T seems TEENSY. (Message edited by slaughter on December 13, 2008) |

Unless there is a huge HP need 520 is more than enough chain for a Blast and any Sporster/Buell 520 front sprocket will fit. We road race XB's having 140+ HP with 520 chain. My Bonneville Blast has 80 HP and by design uses a very worn out non O-ring 520 chain with great results. Hope this helps makes the search easer. Terry JT&S Performance |

Dyno-guy, I'd use 520 if I can come up with it. My struggle is finding either someone who can make a 15 tooth or combine a 15 tooth sprocket onto a machined 22 tooth which is readily available. I figured I'm not the first oddball to try this. 15 tooth is small, but to try and keep the rear under pizza pan size I need it small. Thanks all for the help! |

OK not knowing anything about the bike and what the application is here are a few things to look at along with a few things to consider. #1 the bigger the chain size the larger diameter the small sprocket needs to be. Please send me a PM and if I understand what wheels you are using and what you are going to do with the bike. Then I can go into the details about how you might achieve the final drive ratio you are seeking using available sprockets. |

The smallest that PBI lists is 17 tooth in a 520 chain. For a 530, your smallest size is 19 tooth. |
