Does anyone race in the L.R.R.S. series? I think Skinstains, his son, and Jesternut and his son have raced but not sure what they're plans are for the next year. It would be nice to hook up with some Buellers for the racing season. I was also thinking about Millville because its the next closest track. I like it but it is fast!! I think I would have better luck at Loudon.

I'm hoping to race next year. I'm not sure of which classes I would like to run in. It looks like Thunderbike would be good. What else? I'm almost to the Formula 40 class but I still have time before the big 40.

I do. So does Jetrider802. Thunderbike, Lightweight Supersport (if the bike isn't too modded), Lightweight Superbike, and GT Lights. 3 out of 4 of those classes are on Sundays for Novices, which makes it easier. Formula 40 is race 13, which is the same race as LWSB, so you can pick and choose.

I may do a CCS round in NJMP.

Do you have a copy of the rule book? Check out raceloudon.com and lrrsracing.com. Those are the two info sites for LRRS. You can download everything off of there. Lrrsracing.com does have a lot of dead links though.

I did look at the rule book and checked out the different classes. It doesn't seem to complicated. I think I can get started with a race license ,belly pan safety wire and tape (I know i will need a few more things).

Which classes are good for a mostly stock xb12? I would like to race on a level playing field.

What tires are you using?

Do you use tire warmers?

How many sessions do you get out of your tires?

Will you be attending a race school at the start of the race season?

The classes that I listed are the most appropriate for a stock XB. How far from Worcester, MA do you live? I could help you with your prep work. LRRS doesn't really enforce the belly pan rule, but it's still a good idea to get one.

I use Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SC2 (green) rear and SC1 (blue) front. I use Chicken Hawk standard tire warmers. Right now I am getting about 6 races and 3 practices out of the tires.

I am not going to be doing a school at the beginning of the season. I will be doing some trackdays in between race weekends. Boston Moto is the Pirelli race tire vendor, and this year they are starting to organize trackdays too. There site is bostonmoto.com.

I'm about two hours away. I was planning on getting a bellypan anyway. Do those tires work well? I thought Loudon was a Dunlop track.

I'm waiting for Danbury Buell to get back to me on the paperwork. Hopefully I can get a discount on parts and order race parts.

I may take you up on the help offer. I'll get back to you on that.

What do you think of gearing at Loudon? Henry told me to use 9 primary gearing.

I am running stock gearing for both the primary and final drive. The tires are awesome.

What do you think about Boston motos' trackdays?

Do they offer anything like coaching?

Do they have a suspension tech, tire supplier at the trackday.

How are they're rules?

Are they safe or is it a free for all.

I was thinking about joining team Promotion but they don't do Loudon, so thats a maybe.

They are definetly cheaper than Penguin.

Boston Moto is the tire vendor for Pirelli. I don't know if there will be any other tire brand vendors there. This is their first year doing trackdays as a company, but the people involved have organized trackdays for other companies. There will be coaches, and I am still waiting to hear back on weather or not I will be one of their control riders. There are rules, but less restrictive then Tonystrackdays (especially in the intermediate group which can get rather clogged up with tight passing restrictions). I don't know if there will be a suspension guy (Mike Martire or Peter Kates from GMD Computrack)

Unless you plan on doing a lot of trackdays at Pocono or other venues that Promotion does, you may not get any value in becoming a member.

For the best answers to your questions, email trackdays@bostonmoto.com. Tell Derek that I sent you.

Loudon is a fun track, NJMP lighting circuit is cool to

at NHMS you need the ability to carry lots of corner speed. if you cant do that you cant win

to get corner speed: Penske triple adjust shock, Jet Modified forks, Attack adjustable triple clamps 2 degree offset (more trail). leave everything else stock until you can run 1.20 flat then think about motor and gearing

All buell racers can get 7% off Penske Shock through Johnson Engine Technology
we will also be at NHMS and hopefully some AMA races to help any bueller and non-bueller out

Sweet! Do you think offset triples are necessary if your not sliding the front tire?

How do they give you more feel?

Offset triples are a MUST. to carry high corner speeds you have to ride the front hard (pushing it and almost pushing aka right on the edge). Feed back with the attack trees is awesome. they are worth 3secs a lap at daytona in the infield.

we are a dealer for Attack Performance so if you need a set of trees let me know. I'll get you a good price

Use their gift certificate 10%er deal. Their days are cheap enough without a discount, but another 10% off would be awesome.

I feel the sickness growing inside you. I feel like a crack addict jonesing for another fix.

Eric, Congrats on the new job! I was going to go to the Penguin school on April 24th. Can you make it? It would be nice to have more than one Bueller there. Can any others make it?
