Last weekend I attended a riding school where some of the instructors had GoPro cameras mounted. They used those cameras on the students. I got a copy late Saturday and stayed up to watch myself over and over. It helped a lot. I finally saw what the experts have been trying to tell me for the last two months. Sunday my inside shoulder was no long where my head should be in a turn. So I went to the GoPro site and looked at the motorsports mount version of the wide angle (latest version). They have a video demo from the Yamaha team that showed me another use, mount the camera so you can see what you are doing on the controls. Bottom line is I bought one, it will be here in time to go with me to Arroyo for the final two trackdays of the year this weekend. If you have one of these cameras, what do you do with it? Does it help you to monitor your progress? What else can you do with it? Thanks, Doug |

Doug it's Terry here at JT&S Performance at Infineon Raceway. Here at the track that's the camera of choice for most race teams and car owners that have to live within a budget. The guys next door race Formula Fords and have several of these mounted on their cars. It can be used for a budget data system also by aiming it at the gauges on the dash. So it is the system sold here at the track store for just $10 bucks more but has all the different mounts. BTW guy who owns the company is a customer of one of the race shops out here, that might be why we get a pretty good deal on it from the track store. Terry |
