alright i got a 06 xb9sx. Im looking to get the headers coated. american sport bike will do it. Now the only question is black or silver. so i guess im askin who's got it done and can i see some pics. Thanks | ||

Hmm...depends on the bike- looks like you have a hero blue City-X with a Latus pipe. What color is the pipe? I'm very partial to the black, but I have a black and silver bike. My header wrap is black...kinda gives you an idea of what it will look like. I personally plan to have my entire exhaust coated with a high-temp, 90% gloss powder coat this winter...in black. Here's a Harley I saw at Dulono's this summer with black...looked damn sweet:   All of that said, if I had a hero blue bike, I'd go silver on the entire exhaust. | ||

hero blue city-x the pipe is sliver as of now. looking to get that coated the same as the headers. that blue looks pretty sharp whitetrash. you get that done locally? | ||

yeah, i met a guy who was doing V8 headers for some race shops here. He'd never done the blue before so he had to order it but it came out good and that was over 2 yrs ago. | ||
