I know that this is about the bazillionth thread on the whole TPS thing, but, here goes. Do I need to reset the AFV while doing the tps reset? To what? 100%....Thanks Kenny |

you can reset it iff you like, the afv will self learn, to the value the bike likes. if it's way off 100 .. check you intake seals |

So just for clarification, an AFV reset is really just optional? say for example my Xb has a AFV of 90 which I believe means its running rich in closed loop but lean up top open loop I should then reset the AFV? |

Resetting the AFV by itself really does not do much since the bike will go back to original % after a short ride in closed loop region. The trick is to make the necessary changes in the fuel maps so the AFV "stays" at 100%. In general, any % between 90-110 is fine. |
