I would like to hook up my widder vest and the zumo to a late model R1200GS, can I just splice directly on the battery or could this screw something up. I know this is a Buell forum, but I am sure somebody can help.. |

If you splice directly to the battery, your drive shaft will catch fire, then you will need to rip the bike in half to change the clutch Splicing to the battery is the best way to go, just make sure you got a fuse on the line. |

You will need a converter for the power outlet. The stock BMW is cigarette size, Uly is cigar size. |

On the off chance that your rental company knows anything about the GS you'll be renting, you might want to give them a call and see what kind of accessory outlet they have on the bike. |
