I met a guy today who has an aftermarket shock on his M2 that needs seals.Problem is he doesn't know what kind it is. He describes it as being a remote reservoir shock with a winged emblem(like an Airborne emblem)and has the words "American Made" on it. Any ideas? |

Could it be the Buell Pegasus emblem. It looks like a winged horse. |

Could it be Aermacchi?

In my ignorance, I THINK that other than the Showa stocker, Works and Penske were the only people making the pull-type shock. I'd call Works to see if it rings a bell. Besides, Works can rebuild just about any type of shock - regardless of manufacturer. http://www.worksperformance.com/html/street.html (Message edited by slaughter on November 10, 2008) |

Just get it to Traxxion Dynamics, they are right around the corner from ya and I am sure they could tell you if they could fix it or not right there. |

That was going to be the next step,Charley. I don't have the shock in hand. Its over by the Alabama line and he was hopeing to be able to just order seals and do the rebuld himself. The guy who owns the shock is a BMW airhead tech.He allready has the shock disasembeled. |
