You should download this catalog too. And there are plenty of 3rd party suppliers too. One that I like is Grand Stand Designs. |

Wow! Inflation. What about the chain drive conversions that Grand Stand Designs sells? Pete says there's one in development now or soon. |

Does any one realize that we are in a "resession" or is 2g's really a fair price for 2 sprockets, a swingarm, a chain, and what about that!? I dunno that seems a little HIGH to me. But hey if u got it, blow it! Good luck dude, I hope you win a few races to offset that cost. But if u gotta have it........... |

Isn't the BMC swingarm price for the swingarm only? You have to buy sprockets and chain separate. The have a sprocket carrier you can buy too. |

They charge so much because they want you to race with the belt |

Non Race-Only is a direct order thing that doesn't require a license. Generally anything that messes with EPA is gonna need the race license. You can get the swingarm without a license but the module and software you will need the license. If you're going to go racing, now's the time to start paperwork BEFORE you are gonna need it. You can call Duga but FIRST you have to be setup to order "Race Only" parts through your dealer. Duga can't sell directly to individuals (bummer, but that's how it is) You have to be in one of the listed racing organizations OR you will need to get approvals (check out some of Duggram's posts on the subject!!) Your dealer relationship will tell you what you are going to be paying. Your dealer can give you a discount or charge an arm and a leg. Duga can tell you IF they have the parts you are looking for and give you suggested retail pricing - but your dealer of record is who gets billed. Henry IS very helpful but his hands are tied as far as being able to sell stuff. The info and paperwork you need is at Buell.com somewhere (I'm too lazy to look and link it - but it's not hard to find) You just have to realize that your dealer has to order the stuff - or if your paperwork is in place and your dealer has agreed to cover you, Buell Racing can ship to your dealer but they'll still bill your dealer (not bill you) - and what happens from there is between your dealer and you. If you are at a race covered by the Buell Racing van, this allows you to pick parts out of the van and your dealer gets billed. Handy if you tip over and need some replacement controls or bars - stuff like that. It's a good thing. (Message edited by slaughter on November 20, 2008) |

The swingarm seems expensive but there is much more to it than the XB swingarm. It comes with new billet rearsets as well since the new rearsets have to hold the idler pulley. It does come with the front sprocket and bolt. Only thing you need is chain and rear sprocket. It is expensive but it is a very, very nice piece of kit. |

Joel, didn't realize rearsets came with it. I'll be on the phone monday with Henry. BTW I understand you have to get on a list to get your swingarm cause they have to have a quota to meet before they make a batch. Hope you guys order soon. |
