Take my advice and dont get the cheapest one. I wasted too much time on a cheap one that gave me nothing but troubles. I bought the HD battery and have two seasons on it with no problems

My original battery served my 5 years. No second thoughts in replacing it with another HD bat...

DO charge it completely before installing/using.

Do use a small 1 to 2 amp charger.
DO NOT use a car battery charger.

DO use a battery tender thereafter.

I have put an Odyssey in my 12R and like it fine. I did have to do some modifications to the bike though as they don't make one that fits Buells. I wouldn't look to save money on the battery though, you may regret it. If the original served you well why not replace it with the same.

Your better off getting an interstate brand its cheaper and better! I have one that is still working since 1985! in a car not bike, But i use this brand exclusively!

$100 if you let them install it. $70 if you take it home and do it yourself.

i like the ones with the red, and black terminal posts

but i've heard good things about the AGM batteries. they stand up well to vibrations, or so i'm told

Yuasa is the only Battery I will use other than the Stock HD Battery. We sell tons of them through the shop and have very little problems with them.

Your frame, paint and peace of mind are all well worth the price of an AGM battery.

For the value, quality and convenience it's hard to be an HD battery. Skip the Starbucks coffee for 2 weeks and you'll save enough money to buy a quality product.
