Yes this Saturday. Looks like Sunday too for demos at least. I got my fix on the CR at Danbury last time, so I don't think i will do any runs. Bill did you get the book? He will be there with Dave to sign it. | ||

"The seat is standard UK spec." I guess that means its stock seat the UK bikes come with, which as far as i know is the same as the US bikes. | ||

Shoulda known it wasn't your bike...no road rash or dirt encrusted parts, like your uly. Thanks for the info tho. That seat looks alot more comfortable than the one I got now. | ||

You mean the fork guards? I will get them done when it starts spewing oil In the mean time i clean them off all the time. I have been looking online trying to find them, but last time I found one i wasn't sure what size i needed. | ||

Classic Buell moment that makes me proud to be a Buell owner . .  Guy walks up to me . . . name is familiar from AMA Racing . . . and tells me about a debilitating injury and surgery he endured . . . . and asks me . . "can you do one thing for me?" . . . . . "sure" . . . . "Please tell Erik Buell that I've been a motorcycle rider my entire life and he makes the only motorcycle that is so fun to ride it's worth enduring the pain I have to go through, the bike is amazing". Just as Don Corleone wants to hear bad news fast, Erik speaks racer far better than I do . . . I handed Rod the phone and said "here, you tell him". The two of them swapped racing stories for 10 minutes and I bit my tongue to keep from telling Rod that Erik enjoys those conversations more than you can possibly imagine. Rod is an amazing guy. I am a new Buell owner in the area. I just bought a 2008 Ulysses XB12XT. What a bike! I am really enjoying it. Do you guys ride together on a regular basis? Are you a formal club or is this forum the glue? | ||

This form is pretty much the glue. Also check out the Hudson Valley section, they tend to have stuff going on too. Next weekend is Headless Horseman 4! I just got back from helping with plotting the Sunday route, it rocks | ||

More like tacky glue..jk, Congrats DLV on your new bike and welcome to the buell community, it's a bit disfunctional right now and pretty much has been. The focus is on riding, not forming any "clubs". mostly we use this site to converse,help,and even antagonize eachother...but it's all in jest. | ||

Thanks. I realize the season is in the "sunset" stage. I'll keep my eye on this forum for any activity. For what it is worth I love to work on mechanical stuff, I am loaded with tools, and I have time on every other weekend (divorced). So if you guys have any winter projects I would love to help / observe. |
