I do not see it. But I am recovering from about 2 weeks of stacked up stuff after crashing my 2nd Mac hard drive in less than a year. No worries . . . THANK YOU TIME MACHINE.  | ||

I'm afraid I have no one but myself and my 67,000 RAW images to blame. I must say a couple things about the Apple iMac. When I have a problem . . . I have ANSWERS within minutes. I can get an appointment to take it in for service (last time I could barely leave my house and make it there in time for the appt) it takes less than 90 seconds to schedule online. When I get there for service, I walk straight to the front of the line. The folks know the thing inside out and have all the proper stuff. We never call India. No so much as the blink of an eye, they toss the hard drive and replace it. At the reasonable value of my time . . . the last time I spoke to Dell I could have purchased two new iMac 24" for the time I was on hold. I've never been on hold with Apple. When a hard drive does crash . . . it's just no problem. I have Time Machine, they install the new hard drive, I get home, put in the Time Machine and well . . . Life's good. Excuse me while I go look at my wheel bearings and muffler . . . I need something in my life to worry about. | ||

I just fixed a G4 laptop for a friend. Apple quoted him $900 to replace the power connector  After taking that stupid thing apart, and fixing it, and putting it back together, I officially hate apple again. I'll get over it again, but for the moment, they are evil. I still remember my small signal amplifiers professor storming into a classroom clearly royally *pissed*. He had been repairing one of the old Apple II's, from the days when Apple idiotically insisted on not having a fan. He drew a schematic for a power supply up on the board, and announced "This is a circuit designed by a mad man" and proceeded to show all the ways it was wrong... and to redesign it right, all in about 42 minutes. One of the best classes I had... | ||
