Bought an 08 1125R in Aug. Love it now that the ECM is new and new reflash. All previous problems fixed. Just noticed something new today after riding about 120 Miles. Got home, shut bike off, and went in house to put helmet and jacket up. Came back out 5 mins. later and heard a short beep noise and what sounded like a small electric motor start up and run for 1 or 2 seconds. Noises stopped and then came on again about 20 seconds later. Same noise and same duration. This continued for the next 5 minutes or so. Anybody know what this is cycling on and off? What is the function? Bike has over 600 miles and is going in for first service. I have never noticed this beep/motor noise before. Any suggestions? |

Thanks for the quick response. So, the fuel pump is maintaining pressure in the fuel rail for a while after shut-off. OK |

Thanks, Slyp - I was wondering what this was as well. |

I think it was just lonely, and missing you. The black ones are so needy... Separation Anxiety. R (Message edited by carbonbigfoot on November 02, 2008) |
