Two 55 watt headlights? What about other lights like fog lights? Running lights? LEDs? I've had bikes that can't handle anything but whats OEM - others have more bandwidth. How about the S1? |

My answer to your question would be no, two additional 55 watt headlights will not work. I rode on my S3t wearing to work one morning wearing a heated jacket liner and heated gloves (Approx 104 watts). Everything seemed to work fine on the way in (65 mile trip), but things weren't so great when I tried to start it up at the end of the day. My 2 week old battery had lost its charge and would not crank the motor. The electrical system is simply not powerful enough to handle 100 watts of accessories and charge the battery at the same time. It runs and charges just fine with only the gloves (27 watts). |

LEDs are a different story, they pull milliamps, your beastie won't even know they are on...I wouldn't leave'em on while parked though, pushing sucks! |

My S2 (stock electricals - WITH Kuryakn voltmeter) runs fine with heated gloves, heated jacket liner, upgraded Hella H4 headlight and (2) 35w PIAA powersports aux lights (004XP or something). It used to drop a bit when I hit the brakes and lit up the incandescent brakelight bulbs (and the backoff flasher firing a pair of Federal Signal 3-LED cards inside the taillight lens)...but since I swapped to plug-in superbright LED bulbs, there's no drop at all. If you get aux lights, make sure to get POWERSPORTS lights. They're 35w each as opposed to automotive 55w, and they work just fine. |

I was planning on replacing the main headlight with 2 of these side by side. While you can just use one, I think they look cool 2 up. They run 55 watts each. http://www.streetfightersinc.com/HesaHeadlightFire Black.jpg |
