Um Mike, you have to stop in more often cause we have been doing a lot of drummer exhaust work and I myself have been willing to wait (for well over a year) to put one of KDFs on my 1125. Based on the fact that he assures it will not be the first, but it will be the best for our street applications. Faith my friend followed by trust. That almost sounds prophetic. Maybe Kevin can use that? |

Kevin, do you plan to do a baseline dyno run with the stocker? |

I'm not really worried about hp increase. As long as it doesn't lose power. I am wanting something that looks like the stock muffler with a great v-twin sound. |

well I guess as you guys know I won't sell a pipe cause it looks or sounds good, thats too easy....it will work and yes there will be before and after dyno runs...jersey is gonna do alot of on the road data and thats more of my tuning effort because I don't think a one of you here on the board will ride your 1125 on the dyno very much, if you do then you are missing the bikes whole purpose.... dang Tim, you read my mind Kevin www.kdfab.com |

I would say to wait and see it on the bike, because it's definitely gonna be worth it. |

Are there any plans to powdercoat a version in black? IMHO, I feel like a black pipe is a much better fit with the overall color scheme of the bike--notice Buell changed the heat shield color to black on the 2009 model. It also looks more stock and might blend in enough to avoid the attention of cops with nothing better to do. |

Kevin states from an earlier post that the prototypes are one brushed stainless and the other black ceramic finish. |

And of course the final version will have a side exit pipe to avoid exiting onto the rear tire/wheel? |

And of course the final version will have a side exit pipe to avoid exiting onto the rear tire/wheel? Hmmm. I tend to agree. Water, blow-by and general exhaust crud is probably not a good thing to be shooting at the rear. |
