Check this out. Just got an adapter that takes supertrapp discs. Takes the sharpness out of the tone. Video immediately below this text.

Wow great idea Krassh. Too bad the discs I've got are from a White Bros. oval can and the Supertrapp on my hotrod truck are too big. It's hard to tell from the vid but did it kill some noise....it sure sounds just as loud. |

It is still loud but not quite as much. The main thing it took out was the harsh high freq. noise. I was browsing ebay and found a guy selling a D&D. He also indicated he had an adapter he had made to utilize supertrapp discs for sale to the winning bidder. So I sent him a message asking if the winning bidder did not want the adapter to let me know. So low and behold I was lucky the guy did not want the adapter. I liked the sound before the discs but it was just a little to loud. Plus I can yank all the discs for the track. |

I already have a stock Dyno baseline. I will be getting the D&D Dyno run both unrestricted and with the Supertrapp adapter on Friday. (Message edited by krassh on October 29, 2008) |
