Early snow is among the many reasons I'm extra-excited to have this nice new Michelin Pilot on my scoot- I tend to ride through the NY Winter, and the tire I had would have increased, exponentially, the pucker factor, and the old M2 seat on my S2t really can't take many more tooth-marks from my ass. |

It's 52F here in Palm Harbor. I think I'll plug the heated vest in today.

When I was riding home from work last night, it was 40 degrees and there were little bits of snow flying. There is tons of good riding long after most people put their bikes away. I think I put on about a thousand miles last winter. It wasn't a ton of miles, but it sure takes the edge off the cabin fever to get an hour in here and there. |

Its raining and windy in Baltimore. The weather man said the rain would dry out before it reaches central Maryland. I'm thinking about pulling my heated gear out of the closet. K |

Yeah - doing it way tough down here now too. It was one of the wettest winters on record. Consequence is that it's incredibly green in NZ now. (Message edited by danger_dave on October 28, 2008) |

Being from NJ originally,I don't miss the snow AND the humidity. Have been in Co for 30 yrs now and this week it's going to be in the 70's all week and sunny. NO SNOW in the forecast (it will be here soon enough tho). Then to the hills for snowboarding and skiing. |
