So i just put an exhaust on the 09xb12. The stock exhaust has that actuator valve that automatically adjusts for performance. So my question is, what do i do with it now since the D&D doesn't utilize this. The cable is just hanging from the servo motor.

Zip tie it to something. It will always be there if you want to reinstall the stock can.

Leave the servo motor plugged in or you will get a check engine light. The ECM needs to be fooled that it still working for the bike. As far as the cable ??? Loop it up and tie it up so it won't be harmed or seen...... your done.

Remove the cable. You don't need it.

Thats fine to but by wrapping it up you don't see it anyhow. And second if you remove it.... its a bitch to put back in if you ever need to go back to stock for any reason at all.

Go out in ride it above 3500 rpm's far a constant 4 miles or so. The ECM needs to learn. Be careful about running it and letting it idle right now till you have ridden it and let the ECM learn. Or it may foul out the front cylinder spark plug.... mine did and I've seen and heard several others did to. Enjoy!!!
