Hello all. Just picked up my first Buell on Friday and OMG! I bought an 1125cr and this bike is amazing. I went from a Honda sport bike to the Buell. The difference is night and day. I cant say enough about this thing, but you guys already know this. Just thought I would come in and say hi. I have been lurking on here for a while doing research and from what alot of you had to say, help me make up my mind. Thats about it for now. Thanks. |

>>>>I went from a Honda sport bike to the Buell. Welcome . . . for you have turned to the light. You will be pleased to know that Honda is now beginning, with patents expiring, to use some of Buell's engineering principles. But . . . you are safe now and will never have to suffer again. Ride much, lean more, and smile most, Court |

Voodoo - welcome to the family! If you get a chance between rides, send me a note and let me know how you like the CR mirrors. I'm thinking of adding a set to my Ulysses, to make room (at the signal mount spots) for aux lighting... |

Welcome Voodoo. I was talking with a sales guy at my dealer Sat about Buells of course. A lot of folks get a totally different idea about the Buells once they ride one. Totally different ride and feel than other bikes. It doesn't grow on you, it grabs you and won't let go. |

Welcome Vodoo from the dark side and into fresh thinking and engineering. I was wondering how, did you ever make it into a Harley Dealer and find a CR or how did you find about the CR? |

Im part of a sport bike forum here in North Carolina. One of the guys I ride with rides a firebolt. I never really gave Buell a thought till I saw him ride that thing. He was killing most of the metric bikes we ride with. Then one day one of the other guys I ride with said lets go test ride some Buells. Cool. Jumped on the 1125R and fell in love. I knew this was going to be my next bike. There is a big (for a lock of a better term) "bike show/meet and greet in Raleigh every year. One of the guys I got to know from the dealer let me test ride the CR. Sorry the R was out and the CR was in. So far so good and I can see my self never going back. I want a Ully now too. |
