My XB9 has about 1/2 inch slack on the throttle grip before it increases engine RPM. The "Throttle cable and idle speed adjustment" section of the service manual seems to suggest the procedure described there is simply to adjust cable length so the engine idle isn't affected by the position of the bars. How do I take out the throttle slack? Do I use the cable adjusters where they enter the grip controls?

Thanks for any help!
