....Hell's Angel actually. Riding home from work on a Rural highway on Saturday, I noticed a large number of Police cruisers, unmarked cars and a couple of Suburbans parked on either side of the road just past my turnoff. Being the nosy type that I am, I continued up the road to see what was going on. All of the Police activity was directed at a large gathering of motorcycles gathered in the front yard of a house just off the highway. The L.E.O.'s were numerous. Some in plainclothes, some in uniform, some in S.W.A.T. gear, three or four with cameras with long lenses attached busily snapping away at every biker who made the turn onto the property and those who were already there. I continued up the road to a gas station to turn around and head back to my turn off. As I was waiting for a break in the traffic, I saw a Firebolt coming down the road. Buells are so rare in my neck of the woods that this was only the second Buell I had seen all season. I pulled out after he had gone by and was shocked to see the rider wearing his Hell's Angels colors. I guess it must have shocked the officers as well because although they saw the two Harley sounding bikes coming down the road, not one of them readied his camera. The Angel put his turn signal on about ten feet in front of the driveway and was in the sea of bikes before anyone even lifted their camera. While it's not unusual to see the Angel's on the road now and then, it's sure a first for me to see one on a Buell! So heres the question: As a proud Buell owner, should I be shocked , proud , or just amused? Any thoughts? |

Any thoughts? As far as I'm concerned it makes no difference. Not surprised, shocked, proud, or amused, by anything Angels or any other gang do or ride or whatever. |

You should have thrown him the shocker to see if he was a REAL Bueller or just a poseur. |

here's my thinking....one of the big reasons i'm such a proud buell owner is because of the other buell owners i've met thru BadWeb that would go out of their way to help a fellow bueller in trouble or to treat a fellow bueller they've never met as a member of their own group or for that matter a member of their own family. are all buell owners like this? probably not, but they would be the ones i would prefer to be around. |

What?!? He cant appreciate fine engineering, great performance, outstanding handling and the occasional wheelie ? There are more than a couple club members around here riding the Buell, though all the ones I have sold have been the Tubers. The club prez gets the first call any time a good looking tuber comes in. It works well for me. |

In 2 1/2 yrs working at the local HD/Buell dealership I've met many of the local club members. One (at the time a fellow employee) would bust my b*lls (always in fun) about riding a BMW. When I bought my X1 he came over with a huge smile & welcomed me to the "dark side". The club members here always showed a lot of respect for Buells. |

I would say that there are VERY few, the lowest of the low, who would refuse to help any biker, regardless of brand, in need. Those who would fail to uphold support for the community of riders would be scumbags regardless of whether they rode or not. I don't know any "real" bikers, but folks you thought would never stop and help were some of the first to show up and pull my ass out of the ditch. |

Or it could be 3 + 1 + 4%. I guess I'm a 97%'er |

As I use in my sig line on the Suzuki SV board: "We're 67 percenters, we're average, you can't kick ALL our asses." So, did he WAVE at you? That seems to be the sign of a TRUE rider/biker
