today i got a call from my claims adjuster, he was at HD and they wrote out the check for HD to fix the bike. As it turns out the bike came out to just under 5 grand for every thing. Here are some pics of the estimate sheets in case you were wondering what they were replacing. I paid my 500$ deductable and i am so happy that i get my bike back. reuben http://members.tccoa.com/rjpeters/wreck/estimate1.jpg http://members.tccoa.com/rjpeters/wreck/estimate2.jpg |

New frame? Sweet! 23 hours labor, wow!, I'd pay to see that. |

One of the greatest things I have discovered about Buell is the price of the replacement parts. Very affordable and readily available which makes Buell ownership so desirable for the rider/hobbyist. The labor quote is really reasonable too. Must have to do with the simplicity of the bike and well trained tech's. Sounds like a sweet deal all around. I bet you can't wait to get back on the road. |
