Hey Galen, I wonder what all that extra ducting in the ceiling was used for!! What are the dates for the Seattle bike show, I heard November sometime. I plan on getting the Canadian crew together again. Later, Stuart. |

It was bound to happen!!! Laid down the Redhead the other night, about 25 mph in a parking lot on cold tires. Slid 25 to 30 feet, i'm ok and as is the bike. Been having the feeling that it was coming, 2 1/2 year's since the last time. Good for another 2 or 3 years!!! Later Brandon |

Stuart the dates for the show are Dec 5.6.7th. It would be nice to see you all come down. Brandon I am so glad that you are OK. Sure don't like it when anyone goes down. Kim, I also will be looking for new riding clothes at the show. I have leathers and am leaning towards what Ray is describing. I like my leathers but they weigh a ton when wet, and they do take forever to dry. When I went down last Feb the leathers held up. But I hear that the new fabrics they have out hold up just as good. Gerbing is great for heated wear if that is what you are looking for to. I love my jacket and gloves. Galen hang in there buddy. We will miss you while you are off line. Loni |

Went and tried on some leathers today, pants fit great, the coat is another story...... ladies coats are made for narrow shouldered, flat chested, skinny armed bitches! Freakin' sucks! So I went to the mens coats (which is what I have now) and well that was not fun in leather that is for sure. If they fit in through the shoulders and the chest, well the sleeves were to long or the neck came up over my chin. I will try my luck at the motorcycle show. Boy if that won't depress you in a hurry Kimberlie |

..... continued.... curred my depression, went to Victoria's Secret and got me a few things and then went and bought some new shoes. It always seems to make me feel better. Hey Galen, they sell mens underwear at VS, maybe I should ship you some and a new pair of shoes, do you suppose it might help? |

Kim, any photo's from your shopping trip. Not the leathers necessarily. Oh, by the way, try the Ducati dealer sometime for leathers they have some great ones and for some reason, more chicks seem to ride Ducs, so they may have more ideas for you. And Cycle Gear usually has a good leather selection too. Oops, looks like another shopping trip coming up. |

Shotgun.... I went to cycle gear. GGRRRRRRRR Sorry, no pictures. But it would of been quite a site to see, Mike, Cody, Cameron and Myself all there on a mission for Me. Going crazy, pure madness as I was trying on stuff with a 22 month old crawling under the clothes racks. White trash day at Cycle Gear I tell ya! I will try the Ducati shop next, once I make sure I have cash for VS and shoes! Sucks being short and muscular (sounds better than thick- LOL) |

I believe "compact and voluptuous" sounds even better. Maybe "altitude deprived and Rubenesque"? Or " the epitome of feminine pulchratude in an appropriately-sized package"? |

Seems to me I see a bunch of female only clothing ads in one or other of the M/C mags/rags down here.Maybe Citybike??Try checking on line for stuff like that.I will look at work tomorrow if I get a chance. And there used to be a few boothes at our version of the IMS.And that's next weekend,so I will look there ,also.Don't despair. I have the same problem with my stuff. If the waist fits the chest/shoulders are too small and vice-versa.And why are all thr wrist velcro bands for stick arms,I always seem to be at the last little bit of adjustment. They make these clothes to fit the frickin models. |

FiremanJim- Thanks let me know what you find at the IMS, maybe then I can go on line prior to the show and see some of their product. Glad someone else can relate to my plight |

I've been out of town and am just now getting caught up on my reading. Harriet and I had a nice three day weekend in Canon Beach, Ore. Another place to go on-line shopping is New Enough. I haven't bought anything there but the web site looks good. Loni: I visited my least favorite HD dealer today and saw a couple of new 1200 Sportster Customs. They look GREAT! The foot pegs are a little too far forward for a short legged guy like me but I suppose that could be corrected. Outside of that, the bike looked and felt just about perfect. I'll bet you'll have a great time next summer. Good Job! |

Kim - Just a few more resources to confuse your leather purchasing decision. When I bought my Vanson at the show I found that the people at Ride West BMW seemed knowlegeable and staffed with the right people to help you. Their web site is at ridewest.com. You also might check out a site called newenough.com. They seem to be a reputable business and if they happen to have exactly what you are looking for you may save a buck. And last but not least... have you checked out langlitz.com. They are in your town. If you visit their shop I would be curious to hear what its like. Galen - I'm speechless. All - A couple weeks ago (when it was still in the 90's) I did a little ride on Mosquito Ridge Road. You can check it out on pashnit.com. Next time any of you are around these parts I can entertain you with that one. It would rate right up there with the best of em. Firemanjim - Any plans for riding to or meeting at the ims this weekend? Talk to you all later, Matt
