I will, my wife owes me. We all need to get in the same group. Oh, by the way, as I followed Myron home and go on 264 E (that is a sharp curve), I realized that I need to upgrade to some more sturdy pants. I didn't scrap my knee, but my toes have been introduced to the streets. It was such a good lean, I didn't even realize that I was that far until the toes scrapped the ground. I am real comfortable in the lean now, and need to protect the knees so I will have them for later use.

the rumble thru the tunnels isn't quite up to par of our usual rides, but it is something to do. i'll go if we aren't gonna do a pungo loop or something ... |

Frinzo, You were pretty close, it seemed like you did the same thing I did and realized how sharp a curve it was just a little to late and compensated by leaning a little more. It was a nice ride though, as short as it was. I say that we try and do the rumble and pungo that day also, like Myron said. |

david, did you want me to get the same kind of d-rings, or is it okay if they are mis-matched? figgered i'd ask, since it's not my trailer. also, i was thinking of re-enforcing the ones that are allready in there with some larger backing plates. myron is coming over to help me install the new ones, so i'll have somebody here to help. lemme know |

Jimmy, Becky, Myron, Matt, and Mike, sorry to tell you, they didn't have CRAP for Buell stuff...just a couple t-shirts that said Buell, and nothing else. I figured $49 for a t-shirt that didn't say anything German on it would probably not be cool. Sorry guys. |

For me it's Rumble or Pungo. I've got a company picnic that I've committed to for that Saturday. It's only 3 hours but it's right in the middle of the day. So it's one or the other for me. I'm hoping the Rumble starts early enough that I can do that. I'd like to be in that group. Even if I had to jet off after we reached Bayside. |

tank, you do have good advice oh, and i'm gettin some of the 'lane-splitters'. i figger i'll come-out ahead in the long-run. david, we put some in tonight, but ran out of washers. we re-inforced them w/ ply-wood squares underneath too. there'll be 18 d-rings when were done. oh, and your trailer makes an awesome garage! it was great to pull the bike in there and get out of the rain for re-assembly. man, talk about a tight squeeze. i had to bust out the sawzall and sledge!! ... on the tops of the swing frame, not the trailer |

Well, it's official. I now have an 07 XL 1200 N sitting in my driveway. Took it around the block for a shakedown ride and it scared the hell outta me when I goosed the throttle a little. Let's just say that respect was earned that day. It's most definitely more torque and power that the old Blast. I'm definitely going to be taking it slow this time around. With any luck, when I "master" this cruiser, I can graduate to something with more "agility" (XB12Scg). Until then, I'll be trollin' around and keeping tabs on you Buellers! Who knows, maybe one of you will meet me at a light on the Southside sometime. Ciao, ragazzi! -Paul |
