Author Message   Cable Posted on Sunday, October 05, 2008 - 11:47 pm:        I have an 08 XB12R and I found a race kit(exhaust, filter, race ecm straight from Buell). Question is will everything work with an '08 or would it be a waste of an investment?   Boltrider Posted on Monday, October 06, 2008 - 12:15 am:        Make sure the race ecm is for DDFI-3 (Buell's new fuel injection for '08+ bikes). Buell changed the ecm and fuel injection starting in 2008. A DDFI-2 race ecm won't work on your bike.   Paint_shaker Posted on Monday, October 06, 2008 - 12:20 am:        Ecms for 03-07 models will not work with 08-09 Models. The price alone is almost worth it for just the race pipe, since they are no longer available. Sell the ECM and buy one for your 08 seperately.
