The Renthal bars are aluminum and are smaller inside diameter than standard steel tube 7/8" bars. Not sure if they vary from bar to bar, but I'm guessing that mine are around (or a little less than) 5/8" ID. Off the shelf bar ends won't work.

Are our bars 1" or 7/8"

They are 7/8". The renthal streetfighter bars work well for our bikes.

You will have trouble finding weighted bar ends for Renthal bars. The nature of aluminum is such that it needs to be overbuilt in order to maintain it's structural integrity. Thus it has a small inner diameter.

However if you are simply looking for a plug, I am sure with some creative whittling you can get the stock plastic end caps to fit.
