Installed the lc-1 wideband o2 with a bung in the front pipe also. Few Questions for the people who know.... 1.use narrow band o2 simulator output or wideband o2 output to the ecm? 2. if answer is narrow band o2 simulator, will this be as accurate as if our ecm recognized the wideband output and could use this output? (within the nb voltage range) 3. if I use the nb o2 sim. output will it be any diff from the stock setup, or will it be much faster and accurate because it is actually a wideband o2?(just outputting the nb voltage range) 4. if I use nb o2 sim. output into the ecm will this be fine for dattalogging and making fuel maps even at wot? 5.If this won't safely work for wot dattalogging, which pin on my ecmspy cable do I pull and hook the wideband o2 output to? Assuming I would still be able to use ecmspy for dattalogging with wideband o2 input? Plan to tune all day Tuesday. Thanks Jeff |

I'd think you'd need to use the narrow band simulation mode unless you are prepared to remap your ECM. I'm not sure about the rest, but... bump! |

It might be benficial to read Al Lighton's excellent report on O\b2} sensor operation. If I could find it, I'd post a link. A quick search in the KV yielded some good info... http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show .cgi?tpc=3842&post=999342#POST999342 http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/384 2/343557.html Lots more in the KV. Enjoy. |
