interchangeable with a 2000 M2? I want to go with a slimmer seat and perhaps gas tank. IMO the Cyclone is to wide.

I think you can still find the late 90's slim Cyclone parts (tank and tail section), and they are all interchangeable. A buddy of mine just bought a set for his second Cyclone.

The slim tank and tail are the pre '98 M2 ones. The S1 slim tanks are the same as well. They can be found on ebay all the time.

'97 and '98 M2 tail sections were slim, narrow tanks from '96 thru '98 will work whether from an S1 or M2. I ran my '99 Cyclone with all narrow plastic as well as with a wide tank with narrow tail.
