I just noticed this ruptured/severed hose on my bike the other day. Its not a an oil line - it is rubber and nothing comes out when the bike is running. I looked all over my service manual and all I could come up with is that It might be my transmission breather line. Can you guys enlighten me? Thanks. I should mention that the line runs from the box right next to the oil cooler.

It's the tranny breather. Looks like it's been removed and replaced before.
It's got a tie wrap instead of a clamp.
Just install a new hose and clamp.

Thanks Bluzm2. That's what I thought and the conformation is much appreciated.
