Well, my Uly hit 10k recently so tonight I've been in the garage changing plugs. Not such a big deal to get them out, either. But, they are Harley brand 6r12 plugs. Now, having just read a few posts about this, these are a couple heat ranges too hot, right? Except, I thought my Uly ran really well! Kinda hot though, but with all the posts about heat I didn't think too much about that. The plugs are partly brown and partly white on the tips, and don't really look bad. Bike has missed a little occasionally in the last week. It's been getting 54mpg with semi-aggressive riding, too, which I really like. I'm putting in the Iridium plugs that Al sent me, so we'll see what changes. I'm glad I'm changing them out though, and more proof of why I like doing my own servicing! doc |
