Anybody have a set of Blast bars that I could put on my M2? I'm open to alternatives, as well. Just need something a little bit less aggressive. The old man syndrome is setting in... |

bars make clutch cable and instrument panel problems. get the 1" risers made by precision engineering. inexpensive, look good, and are well made. they have 2" also, but cable and wire length might be a problem http://www.preeng.com/xcart/product.php?productid= 7 |

Thx Fast-am I missing something? I could only find the risers for the XBs and 1125...I haven't been able to find any from PE (or anywhere else) for the M2. |

Check American Sport Bike for the 1" risers. Buddy of mine just ordered some from Al. |

I used Blast or S3T bars on my 2000 M2 and could not tell the difference. Also the wires, cables, etc. worked just fine. This was last year. |

I did double check an archive and the Blast and S3T are different part #'s but same width and 2" higher. Sorry I sold mine but I'm also looking for another set. Good luck. I may have an after market style part #. |

the following illustrates my point: Posted by Bigolebuellfan on Sunday, September 28, 2008 - 07:09 pm: Okay-I need help. I bought a set of Blast bars for my M2l. From what I've read on here in the KV, they should swap out with no problems. Unfortunately, the instrument cluster is too wide to clear the bars. Other than getting rid of the bars (I do like the riding position), does anybody have any ideas? Is there a different instrument cluster or setup I could use? It doesn't look like there's enough clearance between the edges of the cluster and the gauges to mod the gauge cluster. |

The bars did work on mine except it had just the speedo not the speedo/tach combo. I hope that helps. |
