Interesting... I got a PM on the WSMC board today from David Koenig. http://david-k.net/ He does the Track announcing for Willow, Sears Point (well, OK, Infineon), and Fontana (well, Auto Club Speedway) - in addition to other pro gigs. He's been watching (and announcing) Higbee running away with the Twins trophies on Bartels 1125R - still with a stock motor... ...where was I? ...oh yeah, he wrote me to call him up and when I did, he just wanted to tell me that today, he decided he's going to start shopping around for an 1125R. Kinda neat for a guy who has seen EVERY major name racer and team at Willow, Sears and Fontana! It's not like he's throwing the money out this instant today -- he's a pro announcer (and probably as hungry and starving as most pro roadracers) - but he's serious about the 1125R! ... Ok, just wanted to say that. Kinda cool. | ||

Seems to me it is pretty obvious where he should go to buy one. Did you invite him to the pizza party? Oh wait! They are sold out.. hmmm And yeah. Really cool and thanks for sharing! | ||

He's on it (the motivated sales dude at Glendale). They sold their allotment of 15 and 5 additional 1125Rs through dealer transfer. | ||

There ARE some available in the general area. David is announcing the races at the Streets this weekend so obviously, getting the free pizza wasn't an option. Be curious to see how it works out for him |
