damn i wish liberty was my dealer, i guess it could be if i want to take a 2 hour ride. damn my dealer and there crappy information. i don;t want to go there unless i know they can do it, its an hour 20 ride both ways. | ||

Our tech did the new flash on our demo bike and he reports that it runs "a lot smoother at the low rpm's". Great news, but of course we need more feedback from owners that have the new reflash. But it looks promising so far... | ||

Bueller_bjorn: I'd suggest you call Jeff at Danbury. They have an awfully good reputation and, just like I said yesterday, you guys here (as a result of a couple folks writing and asking me) literally got the word minutes after a dealer would have had access to the update. The update was in the system and went live yesterday. It would not be the least bit unusual for it to take some time for proper notifications to be disseminated. Be cool and let's not give any one or the folks at Buell reason to make sure that ALL DEALERS are contacted before sharing info with us next time. Be patient. Call. Got the program done and can ride in 6th gear at 50mph no problem. Runs perfect at speed now, much better at lower speed in city driving. All I can say is thanks and keep up the good work Buell! | ||

HEADS UP! I just learned that when Buell releases something to DT, it goes through SPX (or maybe SBX?). In any event, SPX provisions the update in batches. I don't know if they do it geographically, by dealer number, or what the measurement is. In any event, not all dealers have the update via DT yet. In particular, the three dealers in the Seattle area do not have it (and all three are "always online"). So - for some of us, it may be a few more days (or however long to process all the batches to get the updates out). Of course, as always, YMMV. | ||

Is there a number associated with the ECM relfash? My Dealer wasn't aware of the reflash and he was asking for a HD Net number?? | ||

I got the reflash done this afternoon at Dillon bros. HD,GREAT dealer BTW, bike runs great down low, jury out on mpg but, who cares after the driveability improvement!! Thanks, Buell. | ||

This re-flash is not (so far) associated with a product program that can be referenced on h-dnet.com. Here's what the servicing dealer needs to do... Update Digital Technician II to version 2.002. From the first DTII screen, click on "What's New". Scroll down to the "Re-flash" section, and it will show all the updated 1125 calibrations. PM or call me if anyone has any questions. Chris | ||

Just got mine flashed today and it is smoother down low. I also filled the tank and checked mileage with calculator, not the dash readout average. Half the tank with old settings and half on the new flash on the way home, I averaged 37.5 mpg. I barely got 31-32 mpg before this. Looks like 40 mpg should be reasonable. We will just have to wait and see if it helps the fuel boiling problem. | ||

Yes, I got the turn signal off a demo bike because they didn't order me one last week and I got lucky with getting it all done tonight because they didn't know when they could do it any other time soon. Good luck with yours tomorrow. | ||
