The Sokaogon Chippewa and Forest County Potawotami have purchased the Nicolet Minerals Company, including over 5,000 acres that now belong to these two Native American Tribes. That dam mine idea has been hanging on forever. I am hoping this entire saga will be a good boost to the tourism economy up here. People have been following this from all over Australia and the UK and other corners of the globe.
