What you guys think of the Buell fortress bike cover? Is it waterproof?

I just bought one, received it today. Its made out of soft breathable material. So, it won't scratch up your bike, but is made for indoor storage, not H2O proof.

I bought a cover off ebay. Cost about $1 and $20 shipping from Hong Kong. Best $21 I ever spent. Waterproof but I bought it to keep the dust off it if I'm working in my garage. It's nylon so make sure the bike is cool before you cover it.

No it is not. I ordered one and it came in last week. It is a nice fleece style INDOOR cover for the Ulysses.

I bought a HUGE FLH cover to fit over the cop bags I am installing on my Ulysses.

The Fortress is a really nice INDOOR cover.

Court, won't the FLH cover drape onto the ground and wick up moisture? I, too, am looking for a good outdoor cover (for the XT) and haven't found a sure solution yet.

I don't think it will. The BEST cover I ever bought was a BMW cover I got a couple months ago. If I recall it was about $140 but it's really well made. I'll shoot a couple photos of them.

When I got my bike I bought the HD Sport Motorcycle Cover without Eagle (#98721-90B). It was the only one they had, but it fits my Ss perfectly. Not sure how it compares to other covers, but my bike is outdoors and with the cover on it has never been wet. I don't remember what I paid, but it was worth it.

Mounting the cop journey bags will run into some fitment issues if you are using stock ULY brackets. If you use the "outdoorsmen" kit then its all good. Check over in Big Bad & Dirty for the mushed blinker pics.
