Rode PCH from Long Beach to Dana Point, then took Ortega all the way to Lake Elsinore and back... I had a blast! Took a bunch of pics after the ride at my local spot in Long Beach:

Thanks guys Ferocity02: just pull it off? anything special I need to do to remove it? Any advice is welcome! Ekass13: I am still waiting for the license plate from the DMV lol... it`ll be located right below the taillight (cut an opening below the light so it can shine on the plate). Moclov: I chopped up the stock one indeed... it came out better than I expected |

hey wavex- nice freakin bike :-) as for the stupid canister..theres two lines connecting to it.. be sure to mark which one is which.. one line is the fuel overflow.. the other line goes to the intake? no biggie either way.. the fuel line needs to be rerouted so that it can spill somewhere.. the intake needs to be sealed with a plug of some sort..use your imagination.. done! |

Don't know if anyone has asked recently, but what sort of fuel economy are you getting now, and have you noticed any fueling issues? |

Voofighters: thanks! I haven`t gotten around to getting rid of the canister, but I`ll get to it shortly... still not completely sure about the re-route of the lines, but does anyone know if there's a pictorial tutorial around here? Bl549: it's a '08 Ss seat... the Scg was a little too low for me so my dealer swapped for free... Cgameprogrammer: I was getting around 35 for the first 3 weeks and now I am getting between 40 and 45, which is about right since I ride quite aggressive |
