I've got one I bought from Ebay for a side project that I can't use. The listing said it was good, but I can't install it so I can't say 100% for sure.

i have that one that was the shock that was recalled on the m2 the were breaking iam looking for the updated years but ty for the offer

I don't think there is a Statute of Limitations on safety recalls. I think they must be able to provide a recall shock to you if your bike doesn't have it yet. I have heard of some folks having to fork over $100.00 fee to have the recall performed so late in the game, but it still should be available. 2 things - either you talked to the wrong person, or I am wrong (this wouldn't be the first time for that, now that I think of it)

i called customer service and they said i hade the recall reninforcement system put on it but i didnt have the new recall shock on it and they told me that they only made so many and they didnt have any more
