Hey good ridin with everybody yesterday, I just think that somebody was telling us not to ride, but anywho besides that good seein everyone again. Mel looked like you were feelin just fine yesterday to me. Just to update it appears right now the only damage to Becky's bike were damaged throttle cables, bent bars, scratched up wind fairing and a broke bar end mirror, She is a little sore when she landed she hit on her neck and shoulder but she toughed through it and went to work this morning. Thanks for everyones help in getting her up and out of there and keeping her calm. Paul is a little sore he posted up in the weekend rides. Jimmy |

Sorry to hear that, glad Becky is okay though. I have finished the first application (and hopefully the only one) of the JB weld on the seam. I started at the top and will work my way down. This way if does/doesn't work, then I have a better idea where the crack/leak is. Let us pray!!!!!!!!!!!! Tonight I sleep, but tomorrow I ride. |

Leak has decreased dramatically. Thanks for the info Goody. It still has a little drip, but normally by this time, there would be a pool of oil on the bottom of the swing arm (today, there is just a little). I will still look so I can stop it completely though. |

Hey Dave, You going out to test it tonight? let me know. Thanks Jimmy... good news is the brain isn't connected to the genitals! Tell Becky she's the toughest chick I know!!! Paul, if you're out there... keep us informed about what happens with the Blast. I know it's tough going down on your brand new bike. I put mine on it's side just 2 days after picking it up from the dealer. The first time everyone from work got to see what I had been braggin about for 6 months, it was all bashed up. I don't know much about these bikes but I've got tools so if you need anything post up! |

Mel, bummer I wish I had my bike back I would have went out for a beer. Im still waiting to find out what is up with my 9SX. James, tell Becky that from my accidents experience and racing...get back on or she will hold back. Im selling my KTM that I have now, wife says if I want the Aprilia Super Moto, the dirt bike has to go. I may or may not hold onto the Buell...haven't decided yet, most likely its days are numbered. Take care ya'll I hope to ride next weekend and hopefully I'll have a bike to ride other than a dirt bike...lol |

Mel, just got back, Tawana dragged me out tonight. I will put some more JB weld on for Wed, and see how it does by Friday. So far it is doing a lot better, but I want it to stop completely. I probably would have had better results if I could have taken the whole thing off cleaned it and then put the JB Weld on. I have been doing the spots I can reach. If I can't stop it completely, then I may need some help to get the swing arm off to do it the right way. |

Dave, I've got a good little lift setup in my shed that we can use to get the bike up in the air. If you want to get it off let me know. Shouldn't take more then a couple of hours. (I think) |

Mel, I like that idea better, I will check with you to see when we can get together. The cleaner dries fast, so all I need to do is put on the weld stuff. |

Hey guys, I usually won't do this but figured that I would do it once. My wife is a Pamper Chef Consultant, for those who don't know they sale kitchen ware. She is having a show on Friday (at 7 I think) if you or any of your wives want to come out. If you do, she can be reached at 271-8623 (her name is Tawana). To give you an idea of what they sell, her website is www.pamperedchef.biz/tdsmith. |
