In the mean time, please try using the Search - Registered Users (Messages since I last searched for new messages) feature. It really is the best way to keep up with BadWeB. |

What do the 6 icons to the right of the posts do? I'm assuming that one is edit, one is delete, one is print. The rest? Who knows. Thanks |

Could we have Man-Down/ Medic section to talk about riding and non related health issues... Physical therapy, riding aches and pains, Illness etc...

MrShim, Look up. Ted, If you'll create such a topic on the Quick Board, and if it proves popular enough to become a full blown topic all its own, we'll giterdone. |

Ted, Seems like that would be a good sub-thread for the Crashes & Mishaps section. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/384 2/3614.html?1208325508 Maybe title it: RoadRash & Healing Tips |

THANK YOU TOWJAM!!! i just registered today... and the first thing i was going to suggest is to switch to vbulletin... i can understand that it would be a bit of a PITA just because it appears that this forum has been around for so long.. and it would suck to convert so many threads and info nonetheless, vbulletin is much more coherent and user friendly. i belong to about 6 vbulletin forums and definitely love the useability of it. |

Some of the forums seem to have mysteriously vanished. It was very interesting to read others views in this area. Why were they removed? |

Still there for me. Some sections you have to be logged in to see, not sure if the backfire board is set up that way. |

Some of the forums seem to have mysteriously vanished You have to be logged on to see the backfire board. If you are logged on, and still can not see it, that probably means that you have been banned from it.

I have a suggestion. It seems pretty obvious that people are going to continue to post Knowledge Vault questions in the various bike threads. I'm almost 100% sure that a XB brake question would get answered on the XB board 10x sooner than it would be in the Knowledge Vault. My suggestion would be to have a Knowledge Vault folder in each bike type thread. Possible or a humongous pain in the arse? |

What makes you think that folks would be inclined to post to that KV versus the existing one? |

It wouldn't be another jump to another thread. All the XB KV issues would be with the XB KV and etc. Thought being that the KV would be used better and there'd be less having to sift though KV issues that didn't apply to you. Or maybe the Existing KV would be divided into bike types? I dunno. |

I tend to agree. New forum will have that. For now, we beg folks to use the KV. Not sure why some don't. I still haven't found a forum that provides a better utility than our "New Messages" (registered users) search for keeping up with the forum. |

I still haven't found a forum that provides a better utility than our "New Messages" (registered users) search for keeping up with the forum. Check out http://bmwsporttouring.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.p hp Every time a registered user logs on, they are shown topics with new postings and when you click on the topic, you're taken directly to the next new (unread) message. I'm just saying.... |

Ours seems better in that it shows you a preview of each new post and allows you to choose at which one you want to start. Whichever new post that you click on is where the page opens. Maybe you've not tried our version? Click "search" then select the "Registered users: Messages since I last searched for new messages:" option. |

Blake, I use that feature almost exclusively. It's a great way to keep on top of new postings. |
