I was going to fix it up before it went for sale, and it wasn't going to go for sale for another few years... But after a day at Mid-Ohio I've got the itch for an XB, and there's just the one in the classifieds as we speak. PLEASE let me know if anyone is interested, and what it's worth. 2000 M2 Cyclone Yellow Located in Columbus OH The Good: Fog lights HID Bixenon headlight Custom tail light for extra visability, with flashing LEDS LED voltage 'guage' D&D Full exhaust Buell Race Carbon Fiber intake with 1 year old K&N filter Buell Race 'ignition computer' Custom Catch Can (may need relocated if you have long legs) XB rear turn signals BANKE 4" UP 2" BACK REAR SETS with X1 pegs Oil Cooler WP Rear shock Throttle lock cruise control 2 power outlets (under seat for heated vest and under speedo for powered tank bag or gps/ipod/etc) Corbin Seat Ventura rack with grab handle and tall luggage rack Front rockerbox gaskets recently replaced Crank seal recently replaced Primary Chain Tensioner upgraded Lyndall Gold front pads and OEM rear pads 1 year old 50% left on the Diablo Stradas Replaced the white BUELL badges with 'black chrome'. Cleaned up the tail (fender chopped) Aprilia Tuono Mirrors XB-X Hand Guards (if you want them, otherwise I'll keep them) The Bad: Over 30k miles, but exact mileage is unkown, as the speedo was replaced before I bought it. They said it had about 15k on it, but the speedo read 4k. I've put about 15k on it. The tail section's paint is not in good shape (saddle bags put a hurting to it) and one of the two tabs that go under the gas tank is snapped off. Gas tank has a scratch in the paint Rear rocker box gaskets are leaking (new gasket kit included) The horn fell off (tab broke) but it's included! Tiny bit of oil leaks from the oil cooler lines (been that way since I bought it). if you have some of the original parts, put them back on, sell the bike on craigslist for 2200 and sell the shifters, D&D, CF filter... on ebay. A little more involved but probably the best way to maximize your return. Or leave it as is and sell it to me for a song :-) | ||

I'm pulling the rearsets, ventura rack, hand guards, and Tuono mirrors. Also I plan on replacing the leaking gaskets. Then the bike will be officially for sale on here. Anyone interested please feel free to PM me! |
