Damn you frank if you sell that beauty i'm gonna revoke the NEBO patch i sent ya! i just can't stomach the thought of that perfect bike falling into the wrong hands and becoming a mutant. i guess i will reluctantly say, good luck with the sale. |

Beachbuell, Like I say in the ad it is 6,000 firm with a clear CO title. I did little to the motor but it feels pretty strong so my guess is it has had a mild upgrade. Maybe pistons and headwork but I am not sure. The other mods are many and I will need to go through my records and post later. Rat and Ustorque, this was a fun bike to rebuild but I can only ride it short distances. It is very violent and scary, the way it should be but I just bought another S2 and they more suit my taste and riding style. Besides I may be making a career change and need a little cash! If I can only find something I want to do I would be set LOL. |

Neil, thats funny.... I don't need to be the talk of the town. I guess the S1 took the attention away from me when I tried to ride Shred's 50 when I may have had a little, just a little, too much to drink! (Message edited by f_skinner on September 05, 2008) |

Besides putting her back together here is what I did: - New Plug wires (Blue) - New SE Coil - New turn signals (not stock) - New clutch, throttle, idle cable - Repainted the gas tank - Added Force winder (Powder coated blue) - New rear brake line and Lyndall pads Front and Back with new front rotor - Replaced Swingarm/neck bearing and isolators - Swingarm Powder Coated - Aluminum Oil Bag - Buell Traction Handgrips - H4 Xeon Bulb - New Y Header support bracket - Handlebar powder coated white - Catch can - Rebuilt carb Countless hours cleaning and wiring her. That is all I can think of. With all that she is not perfect. While I had the motor out of the frame I should have powder coated the frame but didn't. The wheels probably could have used that as well. I put way more than 6K into her but I did not build her to sell. This is not a collector bike (none of my bikes are). It is far from a show bike. I built it to ride and scare people. I must say that I do like the attention I get with it sometimes. When I ride it to work it is the talk of the building even though it is surrounded by 20 thousand dollar bikes of some other American make. However you need to have some hairy balls to ride her. She will beat you up and shake your eyeballs out. |
