I bought a Jardine carbon fiber slipon for my 2009 firebolt and was wondering if i need to buy a after market ECU or if the factory ECU will adjust for the slipon? |

Factory Race ECM! Don't forget your hi-flo filter too! |

Factory race ECM not available for the '08 and 09's. (yet?) Your going to have to wait for Al at American Sport Bike to come up with a map, or just wait for the factory to come out with one... ECMspy won't work either... |

i'm no tuner but try your jardine with the stock ecm. you'd be surprised at how well the stock ecm will adapt. after install be sure to run at steady throttle above 3000 rpm for several miles. if it does'nt run to your liking then you'll have to get a custom map. |

I don't imagine there will be a race ecm available to the general public. With the race can disappearing, Buell is being force to be more green. This is just me speculating, no basis in fact. |

If the 09 ECM is like the 08, then you should be fine. |
