Oh hell yes! It finally came. With the added music the bike gets even more looks than before. I didn't think it was possible. My first day of school on Tuesday was great. All the little freshmen girls girls look at the bike and giggle. Their mom must have warned them about men with nice motorcycles. With the Race ECM and the SS the bike really runs! Needs a TPS reset for sure but other than that it runs like a scaled ape. I will try and get better pics as the sun goes down. Thanks Kevin! |

Dude, if the freshmen girls are looking at the bike and giggling, shouldn't you mount some passenger pegs? Well, as long as they are freshmen in college anyway...... |

I think I'm still in line for one. Wonder if my seniority in line will carry over to a muffler for the r I have now? Great looking piece btw. |

If they want it they can follow me home! I ain't fuglyin' up my bike just to take a silly girl for a ride. College freshmen for sure. I will be a college grad in Dec. Hells Yeah. Glitch I am not sure how the TPS got changed but the pick up off the bottom isn't as crisp with the new race ECM and revs get hung up a touch with no throttle when coming to a stop. So the TPS is a little off or the ECM just isn't used to 6,000 ft. of elevation yet. |

When ever you change the ecm, you have to reset the tps. get it done asap. |

Just out of curiosity could I hurt something if I ride a little before Saturday or the 50 mile ride to the dealer on Saturday? |

not sure about that. if it were me, I'd stick the stock ecm back in, ride to the dealer with the race ecm in my jacket pocket and install it in the parking lot at the dealer. |

I think if it's running good enough to ride you should be ok for a little riding. When I changed mine the bike was unrideable but some people get lucky. definitely get it reset soon though. How's it running? If it's not popping alot, I would be riding it. G |

Nice job Gs. It looks great! Here's the Drummer CF on my Ss. I can't wait to test the Drummer 1125 prototype.

I can't wait to test the Drummer 1125 prototype bite me!!!! you and Buellgator suck, lol. get to demo stuff... i should have taken him up on the offer to run the carbon fiber one on my 9 when i had the chance. i said no way because i already had the SS on there and knew i would want to keep the carbon one! the 1125 is a different story though... |

LOL. Tim, I've got over a week's time in engineering and procurement on the damned thing already. Kevin promised me its going to be the shit! I made him a welding fixture for the collector and sent him all the parts and drawings. It's in his hands now. |

Shouldn't ya ride it at 3500 rpms for about 5 miles? That supposedly readjusts the AFV for the operating environment. |

You don't need passenger pegs - their legs just go around your waist! Come on now...it's the ultimate excuse... |

Shouldn't ya ride it at 3500 rpms for about 5 miles? That supposedly readjusts the AFV for the operating environment. I did that. We are talking about the Throttle Position Sensor. No amount of riding will get it back within spec. The funniest thing happened this morning when I arrived at school. A large group of elementary school children was being led across campus and past me in the motorcycle parking. One of the boys, about seven, yells at me, "Is that red motorcycle yours?" I said it was to which he replied in a very loud high pitched voice, "That is the coolest motorcycle I have ever seen!" All the boys then looked to see what he was talking about then quickly broke ranks to gather around and look at my bike. The teacher then had to gather up the girls and backtrack so that all the boys could be brought back in order. I am not much for kids but it made my day to have all the little kids think my bike was so cool.} |
