Author Message   Unchained_buell Posted on Saturday, September 06, 2008 - 10:50 am:        I have a 97 S1. My mechanic has been trying to get the upper and lower fork bushings for 2 months. We want to put all new parts in while they are disassembled. The Harley shop said some were no longer available. The part # is J9129.8. The forks were leaking to bad to keep riding. Thanks for any help you can give.   Ratbuell Posted on Saturday, September 06, 2008 - 01:12 pm:        If J9129.8 is the correct part number (comes up "bushing, lower"), they are still currently available and are vendor direct. All that means is you have a 5 day lead time once they're ordered, instead of them sitting in a regional HD warehouse.
