and trust me, HTFU as a personalized plate in CA doesn't fly. I tried. Even sent in the "Latin" that HTFU abbreviated... said it was our family motto: Habeo Tempestas Fortunatus Usus or: To control the storm is a positive thing/experience... something like that: habeo habui habitum : to have, hold, possess / consider, regard tempestas : storm, weather (how cool is that - the "STORM" thing with the Buells? fortunatus : fortunate, lucky, happy. usus : use, experience, skill, advantage Even with all the above documentation, the CA DMV didn't buy it and DENIED my application for the personalized plate!! (yeah, it was a stretch) | ||

Every time I read a moto-rag that complains about the Buell's shaking archaic motor, I say, "HTFU you Singer lover. If I wanted a lifeless ride, I'd buy a Camry." So I thing Buell should engrave and color the letters on the Air Box cover of all their Press bikes so when they are riding it, they know they need to inflate their boys to properly write about. | ||
