Thinking of adding an XB9 or another XB12R to the garage for track days with my son, would like to see if any motivated owners want to sell. Either Delaware ( Mid-Atlantic ) or upper New York ( Near Canada ) area. Price range between $3000 - $5500. Email art-in-lighting@hughes.net or PM. Street / track or ability to return to street not high mile, stunted or abused. Not a race only engine, some mods cool or stock also cool... want to use both on mountain touring in Adirondacks and trailer down to NJMP for some NESBA dates with my boy. He be 35 and rides a Ducati 1098R or 848... I can't hang with him at those speeds and don't wanna bugger up the 12R. At 56, a shot of father and son scraping some knee is our goal.. figure I have had Sporties 900 and 1000 and XR750's and wouldn't mind revisting that c.c. range on a track bike, probably do ok with my weight at 163. |

Sorry, this bike is pretty far from street trim. It is a fun bike though. It has a 1050 kit on it and Nailin stage III heads. My son wants a 1200 since he rode mine on the track. I had them both on the dyno at Summit Pt. and his little 9 had more HP and torque than my 12. Good luck and hopefully we'll be seeing you at NJMP. |

My brother has a 2003 xb9r with the race kit for sale. It is in really good shape, A good ride. I think he will take 3900 for it. You could get away with shipping and the bike for less than 5k easy. It is in Jacksonville, NC. When I bought my S1, i shipped it from jersey and it was under 400 I think. That one is for sale too! |

I will send you some pics tonight when I get a chance. Just over 8300 miles, no stunting at all, not been down, tires are good. It is the red/silver combo. Just had the headlight recall done by the local dealer here in town. Also has a Buell touring seat on it, real comfy! |

Ya know it gets me when I get an offer of a price here,,, then find the bike on Craigslist for less money, listed a day later, I am getting a list of bikes together and then will make a decision as to which one I get. The person that listed their bike on Craigslist for less went from the top of the list to OFF! |

Well, the craigslist price is accurate, he edited it and didn't say anything to me. Thats why the date was the same day as the original offer. Craigslist updates the post date with the edit date. Craigslist offer stands if you want it. |
