I recently purchased and installed the micron exhaust for my xb12ss. I noticed there is a small exhaust leak at the joints. I have the clamps tightened to correct spec and seated them as well as i could. Has anyone else had this issue or have any ideas for preventing this.

Thanks,
Sean

Did you use any type of sealant (permatex high temp)? I was told when doing the install (Al at American Sport Bike) to apply the sealant (fill the slots), assemble the exhaust and let the bike sit for 24 hrs so the sealant doesn't get blown out. Worked for me...

+1 on hi-temp rtv. I never waited 24 hours though and all is fine. Well, actually, I've had a problem with the front exhaust gaskets leaking and the header to muffler joints too but not lately.
