I better count myself out for this one. Might be working three days a week for awhile, hopefully four. Would love to do 000 hours and draw unemployment for a couple of weeks. I WILL be down for Buelltoberfest, and most important, a weekend with my wifey on the BRP in three weeks. So, I'm taking baby steps in the meantime. Ride safe and smart, drink a few for me...have a great time! | ||

Looks like I'll be coming alone. Plan on trailering to the campground on Thursday. Do I just ask for a site in overflow area for my tent? If I beat everyone there can you point me to the right site? How much are tent sites? Ah, so many questions. Looking forward to riding the area and meeting all of you. SteveH | ||

You want to stay in the Cokely camp grounds at the top of the hill. There is a ranger station that looks like a small shed before you go over the hill towards the shower house. You will want to set up in that area. I asked them to put us there so if we get a little loud we wont bother the other campers. | ||

Its a first come first serve kinda thing so just show up and stake you campground claim. I hope to get there early enough on Thursday to set up a banner or something. Then I need to run over to Sand Fork and see a customer and then head back. I can't get any work done!! should have taken the week off!! | ||

I can't get any work done!! should have taken the week off!! I did! I am going to try to get some work done around here first then head for the hills. Hillsville that is. I plan to spend Thursday night there and then launch for WV from there. Vern, do you want to hook up in VA and ride north from there? | ||

I came across a new 'event' in my schedule. If I can get around the timing of all of that(can't postpone a funeral) I am still planning on making the trip. Carlos, If all goes well, I have a plan for some amazing back roads out of Rogersville Tn and up through East Ky back roads where the fiddle player and the banjo guy have one string and one tooth to share between them! I have been part way out to nowhere on these roads, now I need to go all of the way to nowhere in WV! If you don't mind a swing to the left somewhat, I'd be happy to ride with you.PM me if you are interested. | ||

Been lookin' for an excuse to add this trip to my riding schedule. Anyone (Etennuly/M2nc?)interested in meeting part way with someone you don't really know coming from Hendersonville NC? I made a brief appearance at MB5, and I do recall meeting Ulywife, but (sadly) not M2nc. I would be leaving Fri AM. Haven't researched a likely route much yet, but imagine VA or ETN or EKY would work? PM me if you'd rather. | ||

Well I was going to try to make an appearance but it's looking like no-can-do.  I'm flying home tonight and will be there tomorrow morning. Next week I'll be in Baltimore for a few days. Don't thing the woman will like it if I come home tomorrow and leave on Friday after being gone for 10 days. Then leaving again next week. If I can I will but, like you Wolf, not looking good. | ||

Carlos, Assuming I can get me neck to turn again by Thurs, do you have a place/time in mind we could meet up Fri? Looking at the map quick, are you thinking of Marion or around there? That looks to be about 160 miles or so from where I will be starting Fri AM. I am not familiar with the area, but it shouldn't be a problem other than getting out of bed at 0-dark-hundred. I have to be at home Thurs night, so I can't leave any earlier. Don't want to cramp anyone's style, so you'll just have to tell me if it doesn't fit your plans. | ||

Arcticktm, You are reading my mind. Marion is exactly where I was thinking of meeting you. Its about 70 miles from where I will be staying Thursday night. The question is when can you be there by. You have the longer distance to travel. We need to be in WV by 5pm to make dinner. Webe is coming so we are leaving K-town Thursday at lunch and staying at my Father-in-law's place in Hillsville. The two of us will then travel to Marion and meet up with you Friday AM. There is a McDonalds on Marion's main drag at the corner of US-11 and US-16. You can get there off of I-81 via exit 45 which is for US-16. Turn left at the bottom of the exit ramp and follow US-16 to US-11. The two routes join as one Main St. Follow it until the two routes split. Stay to the right and just past that intersection the McDonalds will be on your right. Turn into the parking lot and look for two Orange Ulys. When do you think you can be there by? I plan to stay off the slab from there. Only using it to make up time so we do not miss dinner at Mark's parent's house. That's a meal you do not want to miss. Wolf, if you did not pick it up, Webe is coming. | ||
