Brown chicken brown cow.... (gotta say it a couple times fast ) Love porno fabulous background, who knew beige was the next swank color ? There is one board that I am on that the moderator will lock it and shut it down if it gets 'offensive' In fact several members start the count down early with an IBTL (In before the Lock) and pile it on thick, just to make sure it does get shut down. I had no idea there were so many thin skinned ninnies, I have been locked on a weekly basis, only a matter of time before they get a committee and kick me off the board. A$$hats just cant take a jab from someone that rides a street bike off road |

*sigh* it's late and I should be in bed, but instead I'm sitting here alone (thankfully!) at the computer going "brownchickenbrowncowbrownchickenbrowncow" trying to figure it out. I don't get it. I . . . don't get it. I'm sorry. I'm just not hip to your particular jive. But I bet it'll be good when someone explains it to me. ->ChelleM |

I've been here since 2001 and know my way around so I have no complaints. Looking at most of the profiles of the people that posted in this thread. They are within a year but not over two other then just a couple. So let me tell ya this. Blake probably saw this thread. And thats it..... Get It??? |

There is one board that I am That wouldn't be PNWriders would it? This discussion comes up about once a year. I think BW has gotten so large that it almost becomes impossible to migrate to something new, without starting from scratch, or losing valuable data. Hey Blake, mind sharing the total database size? I am curious what we are up to. |

I like it. But then I suppose some of that affinity flows from familiarity. I love 1957 Chevrolet Bel Airs as well. |

You think this one is bad, take a look at the Ninja250 Riders Club board. After being used to VBull, it's a serious headache. Heck, I'd just be tickled if BadWeb got a color makeover. This forum is the color of 20 year old computer hardware... y'know, that ugly, UGLY beige that used to be grey when it was new? ~SM (Message edited by Swordsman on August 14, 2008) |

I only have two gripes 1. The fact that threads can't be revived. If there were a way to bring old threads back to the top maybe we wouldn't have 50 seat threads or a dozen XB 6spd threads. Also it would be nice to pull fun topics like joke threads back to the top without having to start over. 2. I wish there were a way to see all new posts on one page. vBulletin has a feature for the home page that shows threads that have been posted in newest to oldest... I know this forum might not be everyone's cup of tea but just check out the formatting. http://www.freethought-forum.com/ The home page has tons of info; news feeds, members online, latests posts, member stats, ect. And then the forum itself is set-up quite well with Main and Sub Categories, members galleries & blogs, and a chat utility. However, this forum has archives going back to the what 1998-99? We can't lose those. It's an insane amount of priceless info, pictures, opinions, and general BS. So if it's a matter of putting up with a few quirks or starting fresh, then I'll put up with the minor annoyances. That being said if there's ever a chance to upgrade and money is needed just let me know I'd gladly donate. I try to do my part by buying from sponsors when I can. |

I wish there were a way to see all new posts on one page. vBulletin has a feature for the home page that shows threads that have been posted in newest to oldest... There kinda is - you can search by date in the search section, it defaults to 8 hours, but you can change it to whatever. Or, you can search for everything since last time you searched. I'm more of a browser, unless I'm looking for something specific, so I don't really use that function. But I know it exists, somehow. ->ChelleM |

yes it would be PNW riders. You would not believe how off topic things spool and when you call them on the carpet on it, they cry Waaaah faster than anybody I have ever met. And rather than getting to the meat of the matter, the thread gets closed. But then again they do have some pretty inane drivel too. It is amazing the number of threads I have killed with documented statistics and cited sources, and they cry foul... ie "Fat people on sportbikes" "Why Harleys Suck" |

I'd like to see a thread with nothing but .PDF's of manuals and catalogs, but also understand how much they cost, so Buell would definately have to give an ok. A man can dream. |

I like the way the board looks and runs. I've never had trouble finding an archived thread for information. That doesn't mean the board couldn't be better, but it'll take a more savvy guy than me to tell anyone how it could be. |

This is the only forum I have ever used. I am old and change disrupts my bowel function and makes me cranky! It's easy on the eyes and the type font is very soothing. (Some might even say addictive) Leave it be ! |

I am a member on several forums, buells, c++ coding, Subaru, more buells... Most are Vbulletin, I kind of like the change here from the norm. But there are some little things that I like about Vbulletin.. Like the little arrow that appears on a thread that you have posted in in the past. It makes it easy to find a somewhat recent thread that you have posted in, while not having to rely on the search. But hey.. I still like it here regardless. |

That's why I like the email notification. Don't need to be notified about everything, just replies to my posts. And, you can make sure they're in html, so all you have to do is click "jump to this post" and you can comment on the thread again. Actually, that's exactly what I just did here. ->ChelleM |

I'm with Court. S.O.P. every time I log on. I don't always read every post, but it let's me keep up with the ones I am interested in and any new threads. Also, as posted above, the E-Mail notification works great. Please don't change it and drive me away from the B.W. I might have to get a real life then! |

I just now FINALLY got the "Brown Chicken Brown Cow". Thnx New12r. ChelleM - If you've seen the new version of Alvin & the Chipmunks, think of Alvin when he's doing the "mood lighting" and being the "Love Doctor". Sounds like, "BowChickaWowWow" If I'm wrong, so be it. That's my story & I'm stickin 2 it! lol |
